This week was a remarkable and wonderful week. It started out with about 30 hours in the car with my family. I really love them because it went by quickly. I just enjoyed that time to reconnect with them and have some fun! We went to Tucson Az on Tuesday. We visited a ministry called Gap Ministries that has 10 houses for children. It was amazing. We really enjoyed meeting with Greg and Pam and talking to them about their vision for the kids. We also got to talk to some of the houseparents as well as some of the kids. It was beautiful and really excited us for what God has for us. Then we spent an amazing week in El Paso...visiting old stomping grounds and then nightly being infused with the WORD and lifted up by powerful praise and worship. Christopher grew in his faith this week as well. He learned a lot about prayer and really had fun at the children's church the whole week. We had services with Marcos Witt, Tim Storey, Creflo Dollar, and our beloved pastor Charles Nieman....It was a time of filling and transforming...I feel like I am bubbling over. It is so great to just have time to set your eyes upon Jesus! It was awesome to stand side by side with a wonderful man of God, my husband Jason, praising God and really filling ourselves up with HIS WORD...being reminded of the power that we have in God...being reminded that GOD is on our side....reminded that NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST US SHALL PROSPER....remembering that God blesses us so we can be a blessing to others.....wow! There was so much that we learned and we really grew! ( I actually did GROW...i gained about 10 lbs eating lots of good mexican food...hehe...no joke)
Then we headed over to the other side of texas to a great home called Sunny Glen Childrens home and were even further blessed. We met with Terry and Linda Moore. This ministry has been amazingly blessed over the past few years. I feel that God's hand in unmistakeably on this place that is why it is florishing so much....we feel His hand on this place and it excites us and enitces us to be a part of how he is moving.....Terry and his wife actually invited us to stay the night and visit with the kids. We met some awesome little ones tonight. Juan, Estrella and Lluvia (2,5,6) had just come to the home last friday.....Juan took to Jason immediately....and cried when we left...I saw tears in jason's eyes....It is something so powerful when you are standing in the exact thing that GOD created you for...it is overwhelming...as jason said we were left speechless. As we journey into this, we pray God hand of direction. We are excited about both homes....right now Sunny Glen is strongly on our hearts. We have also been invited to California to a ministry that works with adults with disabilities. We are excited for what God has in store....he is blessing us so much right now....why? Thank you jesus....help us to remain in your willl..cast off anything taht might hinder us...let us run fast and hard after you...we love you so much!
Lord we see you face to face right now! Let the things that you have poured into our lives that last few days pour out into every facet of our lives.....our remaining time in Iowa...let it be blessed and let us bless others.....let us ignite flames in others to go after that which you have called them to do....we love you and eagerly want to serve you.
And THANK YOU FOR THE SUNSHINE...it was so revitalizing!
