Lessons.

We understand the gospel because we have needed it in our lives. 
When we need forgiveness, we are forgiven.
When we need mercy, we are shown mercy
When we need love, we are shown love.
When we need grace, we are shown grace.

People find salvation when they recognize their need for a savior. 

I thank God for the path of life and circumstances in my life that lead me closer to the LORD. 
I really did have a ROUGH life but I am so thankful for it. It was actually a blessing.

I discovered how much I needed Christ when I was in lack. 

That is why I think drug addicts and alcoholics are such powerful witnesses of Christ. They transform their lives and know that it is only through Christ who could change their life. 

The best gift we can give our children is the prayer that God will show himself to our kids by showing up in their lives when they NEED Him the most.

Life lessons are hard but I think it is best when a loving God walks us through those lessons.
